MHPA’s premier Advocacy Leadership Forum brings together a diverse group of Medicaid managed care professionals for three days of education, advocacy, and networking with policy experts, Members of Congress, and Administration officials.
Gain insight into healthcare policy. Elevate legislative priorities. Collaborate with industry colleagues and guarantee that the policy interests of Medicaid-managed care are represented amidst a divisive political climate.
We know that Medicaid-managed care improves the lives of millions of constituents in states and congressional districts across the country. Unfortunately, federal budget cuts, overreaching legislation, and harmful regulations often threaten the managed care delivery system’s ability to best meet the needs of vulnerable populations.
MHPA’s Advocacy Leadership Forum is open to MHPA Health Plan Members only. Registration includes admission to the Forum sessions, (2) breakfasts, (1) lunch, refreshment breaks, welcome reception, and bus transportation to Capitol Hill.

MHPA’s Advocacy Leadership Forum takes place at The Madison Hotel, located at 1177 15th St. NW, Washington, D.C. 2005. MHPA has contracted with The Madison Hotel to provide attendees with a special discounted rate of $359 per night which expires on May 15, 2023. When making hotel reservations by phone, remember to mention that you are attending the MHPA Advocacy Leadership Forum to ensure that you receive the negotiated room rate. Reservations made after this date will be based on the hotel’s availability and prevailing room rate.
