MHPA 2024 Awards Program

 

MHPA is accepting nominations for its 2024 Awards Program. Featuring the Isadore King Spirit of Service Award and Joy Wheeler Leadership Award, MHPA’s Awards Program recognizes the efforts of industry leaders, health care advocates, policymakers, research scientists, and members of the Board of Directors for their tireless work, contributions to advancing Medicaid and managed care and commitment to serving vulnerable populations.

Isadore King Spirit of Service Award

Named after past MHPA board member and former CEO of The Wellness Plan, Isadore J. King, the award recognizes an MHPA Partner company that has been exceptional in helping further the mission of MHPA and its member plans: serving the nation’s poorest, most vulnerable populations. Past winners include Express Scripts, Mom’s Meals, Sellers Dorsey and Epstein, Becker & Green, among others.

Joy Wheeler Leadership Award

Given to an individual in honor of his/her tireless work helping the Association fulfill its strategic and operational goals. Past winners include John Lovelace, Clifford Barnes, Jill Joseph Bell, Joseph Musker, Daniel J. Hilferty and Rita Johnson-Mills.

Recipients will be honored in September at MHPA24 in Indianapolis and will be promoted in MHPA publications and to their local news organizations. Email nominations to [email protected] by Friday, July 12, 2024.
